Elegant, more elegant, gilded
Making beautiful things
even more beautiful
The gilding of readily available and everyday materials has been used since ancient times and is still very popular today.
Electroplate materials
Thanks to the latest technology, we are able to permanently gild almost all organic and inorganic materials.
Galvanized tool
We also gild tools such as scissors, screwdrivers and other work objects. Be it to protect against corrosion or as an exquisite, industry-specific gift.
Have jewelry gilded
From old to new: Even pieces of jewelry can use a new coat of paint over time. This way, your old keepsakes will always stay in fashion.
Electroplating
We use electroplating to gild metallically conductive substrates such as stainless steel, silver, copper, brass and chrome-plated substrates.
Organic materials such as shoes, flowers, real leaves, leather, plastic, rubber, plaster, wax, etc. are also possible for gilding.
The electroplating process
This process turns a non-conductor, a substance without electrical conductivity, into a conductor. Then, in an electrolytic bath, electricity is conducted with two poles.
At the positive pole is the metal to be applied, e.g. gold. The object to be coated, which is to be refined, hangs on the negative pole.
The current dissolves the metal ions, conducts them through the bath and deposits them again at the negative pole. This process enables a particularly even coating of an object.
For something special:
Turn something ordinary into something unique. Stand out from the crowd with your individual gold piece.
For renewal:
Is your old piece of jewelry still close to your heart, even if it is past its prime? With electroplating, your jewelry will be like new again and shine in new splendor.
For sustainability:
Gilding your jewelry instead of buying new jewelry automatically reduces your ecological footprint. Galvano Studio only works with recycled gold from Western Europe and also pays strict attention to the disposal of waste water and waste. Environmental awareness written in gold.
